Picnic & Painting on Tyršák
At Placement Slovakia, we always highlight the importance of work-life balance as one of the key principles during an internship experience with us. To reflect this value in practice, we recently spent a fun and relaxing afternoon at Tyršák near the Danube with our interns during our "Picnic & Painting" event.
The goal of the event was simple — take a break from daily routines, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time together in a casual setting. We set up a picnic spot with snacks, drinks, and art supplies, giving everyone a chance to unwind and connect.
The highlight of the afternoon was a lighthearted painting game where interns and team members got creative with brushes and canvases. It wasn’t about being an artist — it was all about enjoying the moment, trying something new, and having fun together.
Throughout the afternoon, we had plenty of good conversations, shared laughs, and enjoyed the beautiful riverside view. It was a great chance for interns to build closer relationships with each other and with members of the Placement Slovakia team.
Events like this are a small but meaningful way we show that learning and working go hand in hand with well-being and personal growth.
