We created the Placement Slovakia program to inspire international students to choose Slovakia for their internships, career growth and personal development. Through our program, students gain not only high-quality work experience, but also unforgettable social and cultural moments in a beautiful and rapidly developing country.

Placement Slovakia program is part of the Workspace Europe Network leading key student career development initiatives in Slovakia. For more than 10 years, we have been focusing on preparing university students for professional practice at the European level, improving the employability of graduates, supporting international student internship mobility within the EU Erasmus+ program, and connecting universities with the world of employers.
The Workspace Europe Network consists of the following programs:
- Placement Slovakia program focused on internships and career opportunities in Slovakia for students and graduates from abroad.
- Workspace Europe consortium of 15 Slovak universities dedicated to supporting internships of Slovak students and graduates abroad through the EU Erasmus+ programme. (workspaceeurope.sk)
- Stážista.sk career portal for university students in Slovakia, connecting them with employers across the country and helping them take their first career steps. (stazista.sk)
Each year, we place hundreds of university students in professional internships with companies and organizations in Slovakia and EU countries. We organize events, lectures, seminars, and workshops at universities with the goal of improving the readiness and employability of graduates for the job market at an international level.
We have built an extensive network of partner universities and employers in Slovakia and abroad, aiming to provide comprehensive support to both sides and help them successfully meet the challenges of today’s job market across the European workspace.
