Students can apply for one of the positions listed in current vacancies, or submit an application form stating the preferences for certain work areas. We then contact suitable candidates and arrange a two rounds of interviews, with us and with the representant of the host company. With successful candidates we proceed with organising of the arrival and all necessary administration and practical needs. Throughout the recruitment process, we remain the only contact point between candidates and host organizations.

It is completely FREE. We do not charge applicants for our service, but offer you a lot:

• We will find you the right internship position where you will be able to use the skills you gained in university and to contribute to the host company activities,
• We will provide you with all necessary documents required by your school,
• We will provide you with accommodation, a single room in a fully furnished shared flat including internet,
• We will provide you with all the information and details necessary before your arrival,
• We will pick you up upon arrival in the city of your internship,
• We will help you with foreign police office registrations
• We will provide you with information about the city of your placement, public transportation and all the practical details necessary for you to settle in easier,
• We will track your progress during the placement,
• We will keep in contact with you during the whole placement period and assist you in case of need.

Placement Slovakia is an internship programme providing comprehensive service for individual higher education students, graduates and young professionals interested in doing an Erasmus+ internship in Slovakia. 

The programme was founded by WorkSpace Europe, NGO coordinating the only Slovak Consortium of Universities for Erasmus+ internships.

WorkSpace Europe is the most experienced organization in Slovakia in the area of Erasmus internships of higher education students. For the past 8 years We have organized over a 1000 internhsips of Slovak students abroad and foreign students in Slovakia.

We cooperate with hundreds of Universities and Higher education associations from across Europe and world. We are members of the most prestigious university associations as EAIE - European Association for International Education, LEO-NET or University Industry Innovation Network and others.

At the other side we manage company internship programs for several companies. We cooperate with wide network of companies, mainly Slovak branches of the top international companies including Big Four Accountancy firms or Global Business Centers but also successful international and slovak startups. We are part of several Chambers of commerce in Slovakia including: American, Spanish, Netherlands, French or Austrian.

We set up the programme to increase the mobility of foreign trainees to Slovakia and help getting Slovakia on the map of interesting destinations for internships and work placements as we have a lot to offer to gain high quality work and cultural experiece in a beautiful and fast developing country.
