Mr. Bekir Koničanin from International University of Novi Pazar, Serbia - Channel Services Enablement Specialist, Slovakia

The end is always the beginning of something new. New experience, people around, interests, - all of that is waiting for the Bekir ahead. Life is all about experiences. Our past experiences shape the person we are today. Our new experiences can shape the person we become.

Bekir Koničanin - our intern has finished his training and shared his impressions of Erasmus + internship, life in Slovakia and recommendations for future incoming students.

Bekir came to us from Serbia, International University of Novi Pazar and worked as a Channel Services Enablement Specialist in the Bratislava based branch of a global company. He created and adapted Services and product content in multiple languages, and worked with the team to help enable services to upsell strategy. Worked  with marketing, sales enablement, product, operations, and different cross-functional teams.

“I have learned a lot of new skills in my work field. I got to experience digital content and data marketing within the IT industry. Working with local, and regional, teams across cultural, language, and time differences. Experience working with content, assets, and deliverables, as well as communications and presentation skills, demonstrating executive presence”, - said Bekir Koničanin.

Bekir shared that the most pleasant part of work life was his enjoyment in the field of traineeship. Work life gave him a pleasant opportunity of meeting a few people, who are also enrolled in the Placement Slovakia program, and they never put him down or deliberately hurt his feelings and were always kind and respectful to him.

He also speaks very warmly about Slovakia: “Just imagine an incredible number of castles Slovakia has. I pretty much enjoyed the country's national parks and protected landscape areas. If we take a look at the Human Development Index, Slovakia is ranking very high. Everything about Slovakia made me feel like home. I love it! “

In his free time he was reading books, hanging out with people he met, researching many different fields in general.

“You will never be in your 20's, or 30's in Bratislava, Slovakia with people from all over the world again. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and you should go for it.”

For the question “Would you recommend this programme to other students?” Bekir answered: “Yes, I would. Placement Slovakia is a must. For everyone who is seeking new opportunities, exploring new possibilities and improving their social and working skills - this is the right place.”

From our side, we would like to thank Bekir for joining the Placement Slovakia program, for his desire to improve and develop. Let new horizons and opportunities open up for you. We wish you growing prospects, constant development, brilliant career growth, prosperity and luck. Let success accompany you! We are always glad to see you again in Slovakia!
