This time we organized our first trip through the beauty of Slovakia, and more specifically through the highest mountains of Slovakia - the High Tatras. This is a great place to explore the charms of incredible Slovakia. Our tour took two days, during which we had time to visit the Strbske lake, go to the Skok waterfall, climb the chains on top of the waterfall to the mountain lake where we found snow. After 3 hours of hiking, we were caught in heavy rain and fog, so we had to return to the hotel. We were not upset, as it was a real adventure as we kept moving, helping each other and cheering despite the weather and the upcoming danger. In the evening we organized a tournament for our trainees in table tennis, where they won small Slovakian gifts. 

The second day was busy, so after a heavy breakfast, we went on a hike to Popradske Lake. On the way we chatted, took pictures, and listened to music. Since the weather on that day was very nice, all the guys were able to go to the mountain Ostava - 1996 meters, where at the height of the bird's flight, we enjoyed the mountains, peace and nature. To gain strength after an active day, we tasted Slovak dishes and went for a final walk in the woods. 

Erasmus+ internships provide incredible time during which you will gain tremendous work experience, make new contacts, and discover new places for yourself. And Placement Slovakia will help you with that.

“It was such an awesome weekend in Tatras! Hiking, hiking and again hiking!

Except for that we were laughing, having a ping pong tournament and of course enjoyed nature. For me it was a good opportunity to meet other interns and spend time with them. I got distracted from my everyday routine, rested from social media and took pleasure in the mountains.
