Bratislava is a small but very cozy capital on the Danube, which has been the capital of the different countries 5 times in its history. Also, it is unique in that it is the only capital on the state border with Austria and Hungary.

The history of Bratislava is rich in events, in particular, magnificent correlations, and the signing of peace agreements that took place here. This city has numerous gorgeous places, churches, and museums. Here you can easily leave your heart in an ancient surrounding full of amazing history and mystery.

It would be a shame to live in this beautiful capital and not know its history. That’s why Placement Slovakia organized a tour around Bratislava!

We were visiting the most important landmarks and places in Bratislava. Starting with the Main Square (Hlavne Namestie), see the famous Bratislava street statues, National Opera, the National Philharmonic Orchestra, and Cathedral.  The tour was full of fun, interesting topics, and information about Bratislava and Slovakia, its history, and traditions in the form and presentation our tour guide showed us. Despite the cold weather, interns had the opportunity to enjoy time with each other. Trying to be a tourist in the city where you are already living? Why not? This tour was interesting for newcomers, as for our interns who lived here for 4 months. It was an enjoyable day with the presentation by an enthusiastic guide with a walk through the city center, its interesting buildings, and marks, of course, the castle...

Here are the photos for our Saturday!
