Ms. Claudia Fuentes López de Lerma from Loyola University, Spain - E-commerce Business Support Trainee, Slovakia

Let’s read about the experience of our intern - Claudia Fuentes López de Lerma from Spain! She studied at Loyola University and had an internship as an E-commerce Business Support trainee. 

This was an exciting opportunity to take on challenging real-life projects and initiate an exciting career in the IT sector. Claudia joined the Online SMB Sales team to provide general support in a variety of tasks. Programs and projects she focused on but was not limited to:

• Optimizing processes and implementing a new CRM for customer and Sales Representatives within the EMEA region;

• Support execution of outbound campaigns via SMB Inside the Sales team;

• Support Program Coordinator to increase registrations and the number of active buyers;

• Track and report on key metrics and use problem-solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conduct analysis, derive key insights, and deliver recommendations. 

Talking about knowledge that Claudia learned in this field: “I have learned and improved my knowledge using these programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics, and Hybris.” Competence in these programs can improve your chances of success in the job market. It will also allow you to strengthen your confidence and grow in your career.

“I couldn't have a better mentor and company. I have enjoyed and learned a lot.” - sharing Claudia about her overall support from the mentor and colleagues in the company. As we know it is so important to have good people around with whom you spend most of the time. Therefore, it makes sense to say that the better our relationships at work, the happier and more productive our lives will be.

The most pleasant part of her work life was the environment and the relationship team. Claudia said that she felt so comfortable working with them and with the rest of the employees.

The most difficult part of work life was beginning. “You need more time to learn but it was perfect because I was helped by my mentor”. 

What did you find the most interesting thing about Slovakia? Did you notice any cultural differences between Slovakia and your home country? “Although both are in Europe, there is a difference between Spain and Slovakia. I would say the biggest for me is the culture (traditions and behavior of the Slovaks)”, - was Claudia’s answer. 

Of course, we asked Claudia about recommendations for new coming trainees. “I would recommend spending time with people from different nationalities to improve their English and learn about other cultures. Travel and make good relationships at work.” 

We are pleased to announce that Claudia is staying in Slovakia and will work at another multinational in Bratislava. We congratulate Claudia on her new job, new aspirations, and new ideas.
